I can’t recommend this store and owner enough! He gave every customer in the store specific attention. He helped find great shoes to help with my training to run my first race and explained to me why they were good how my shoes should fit and why that mattered. The prices were also very reasonable. All around great experience and I will definitely be back!

Fabulous store. So many options for women (lots of colors other than pink). Tennis, walking, running, all purpose. Staff is super knowledgeable. I was there with 3 other customers and the staff person was able to bounce around and give all of us personal attention. I love my new running shoes. This is my second time buying shoes here, won't be my last.

Walked in and got incredible customer service. The owner was knowledgeable about every product I asked about. I now own the best running shoes I’ve ever had. The owner helped me find a perfect fit. No doubt I’ll be back. 10/10.

I took up running since I moved to the city and started to experience leg pain since I am not used to running long distances on concrete. I was tempted to order shoes online but decided it would be a better idea to speak to someone and get a proper fit in person. I stopped by and the owner was working at the shop. He probably saved me a lot of hassle. I walked out of the shop in 30 minutes with a comfortable shoe that has made running distances much easier. The shop owner was very knowledgeable, reliable and friendly. He made sure to understand what I was looking for then educated me on the best options. I was impressed with his selection of other athletic items and I highly recommend you check this place out! I'll definitely be stopping by again!!!

I've always had pain in my feet since college and always thought it was just me as I always bought expensive New Balance shoes all my life per the recommendations of other shoe stores. My wife came to this shop few months ago and Bob helped her find shoes specifically for her feet and she has never been happier. We were leaving for a big Italy trip for our honeymoon the other month and I was dreading it for all the walking we had planned to do. Anyways, I went to this shop and Bob, the owner has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met in a long time. We had a great chat and I was surprised to find out he has been selling shoes for several decades. He inspected my feet and recommended some Brooks, additionally he suggested I wear shoes that are 1 size bigger than I normally do as I always have issues with my right toe getting injured. Had no idea that feet swell up so I went with his suggestion and I am so glad I did. I literally have ZERO pain in my feet now and can walk for miles. Thank you so much Bob, you are amazing which words simply cannot express my gratitude! Also, I was surprised to see that his price was the same compared to Amazon or other online retailers so I would rather support a local business. I will always get my future shoes from here. I highly recommend this business 100%!

I had a great experience today at the Athletic Shoe Shop in Newton. My trainer suggested I check out this shop to get fitted for sneakers with good support. The owner Bob was extremely helpful and made sure I got the best-fitting sneakers. This shop deserves 5+ stars.

Went in for shoes as a new runner. I had a few in mind and the worker there offered to give me a fitting and consultation and gave recommendations based on my exact foot size, shape, walking style, etc… picked out a shoe and color they did not have in stock but he was able to bring it up on his laptop and ship the style I wanted directly to my house in 2 days at additional cost. Great service and professionalism. 5 stars

Top notch and very down to earth customer service. This is a man who knows what he’s doing knows what he’s talking about. He knows all the products that he has all high quality durable and definitely get your moneys worth from this place. Friendly, helpful, professional all around I cannot say enough about a place like this. I feel the newer businesses in today’s world should take lessons from is set up like he has. I know I sure will.

I had the best experience with Bob! I came here about 8 years ago before having kids and was told to use brooks. After children, I was struggling to find ANY supportive shoes. Today, Bob immediately gave me inserts and my feet FINALLY feel supported! Thank you, Bob! I will be back soon :)
